I actually started writing this song in June.
Yeah, I'm slow.
Use headphones when listening.
And, don't drop your beer.
As usual, I wrote, recorded and played all the instruments myself.
Eleven days after the Coffee House Party (see the entry below this entry) I decided to record this song as a solo performance.
I hadn't even touched my guitar since the party.
But after only four takes I was satisfied with the result.
Jay and I (also known professionally as Joy and Ray) played at the most recent Coffee House Party.
We performed two songs - Sweet Jane and Country Honk.
Roy - Acoustic Guitar and Vocals.
Jay - Bass, Harmonica and Vocals.
This is an old Faces song from 1973.
In this recording I contributed various Guitar parts, Percussion, Piano, Organ and Vocals.
Jay Berentsen contributed Bass, Harmonica and Vocals.
On May 21st, 2022 Bea Marie Tharp and company had an In-Person and Virtual Coffee House.
And people were encouraged to either appear in person or submit a video of themselves performing a song.

I showed up in person (to the amazement of all involved) and performed a song I wrote 4 years ago called My Dog.
This video shows the run up to the performance, the performance and the aftermath.
I wrote this song back in January of 2015.
In this recording I played various Dobro parts, Bass Drum and sang lead vocal.
